Occaisionally (during the Clone Stamp tool for instance), the tool is explained along with a demonstration of a very useful image editing technique. However, there is quite a bit of time spent showing each tool and setting in the app without any practical examples of why said tools and settings would be used. The information presented appears well thought through, clear and concise. This gradually gets better, partly because we are dealing with more significant information and it does help to have a second to soak in each concept before going on to the next. Starting out with the introduction title, I thought I was going to pull my hair out sitting through the whole series, becuase the host is quite monotone and gives long pauses between his sentences, as if reading from a script to children. So, I'm about 20 titles into this series and believe I have a good feel for its strengths and weaknesses.
